I fatti riguardano il Biellese in particolare, e nelle specifico una località chiamata Oropa Bagni.
Il Santuario di Oropa, situato a Oropa, Biella, Italia, è un insieme di edifici e strutture cattoliche romane. Alcuni ancora lo definiscono importante un sito religioso ed è legalmente definito come un’organizzazione religiosa laica autonoma. Ma ci sono stati casi di attività di sette sataniche nella zona durati decenni.
Recentemente, nel 2018, il cimitero di Oropa è stato sequestrato a causa di una serie di profanazioni di tombe. Otto tombe sono state profanate e distrutte, con simboli satanici sparsi intorno.
